FRP Gratings

FRP Gratings

We supply FRP Gratings made using Pultruded Profiles which can be used for platforms, walkways, etc. Being corrosion resistant, they last long and does not need any maintenance.

FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) gratings are structural components made from a composite material comprising reinforced fibers, typically glass, carbon, or aramid fibers, embedded in a polymer matrix, usually polyester, vinyl ester, or epoxy resin. These gratings offer several advantages over traditional materials like steel or wood:

Corrosion Resistance: FRP gratings are highly resistant to corrosion from chemicals, saltwater, and harsh environments, making them ideal for applications in industries such as chemical processing, marine, and offshore.

Lightweight: They are lightweight compared to steel, which facilitates easier handling, installation, and transportation.

FRP Gratings

High Strength-to-Weight Ratio: Despite being lightweight, FRP gratings exhibit high strength, providing durability and structural integrity.

Non-Conductive: FRP gratings are non-conductive, making them suitable for applications where electrical conductivity is a concern, such as electrical substations or areas with sensitive electronic equipment.

Low Maintenance: They require minimal maintenance compared to materials like steel, as they do not corrode or degrade easily.

Slip Resistance: The surface of FRP gratings can be designed with anti-slip properties, enhancing safety in wet or slippery environments.

Customizable: FRP gratings can be customized in terms of size, shape, color, and surface texture to meet specific project requirements.

Advantages:

High load-bearing capacity

Durable in the harshest environment

Easy to assemble

Easy to install and maintain/repair

Suitable for ventilation and natural lighting.
